I saw this over on Wil Wheaton’s blog. Says it all.
I just saw this over on Boing-Boing. Way cool.
And remember, Dr. Who is back on CBC starting September 19, 9PM. Yeah!!!
I saw this over on Wil Wheaton’s blog. Way cool!
Oh man. I just realized that my last post was back in July. Can’t really blame it on anything other then my own laziness. I’ve got a bunch of posts backed up in my journal that I want to write out here for other people to read. Just need to get around to doing the actual typing. Hopefully soon.
It is frosh week here on campus. Is that ever depressing. The kids starting this year weren’t even born when I first started my first degree at UNB. Not that it makes me feel old, or anything. I’ll just get my gruel and tea and grab a nap or something. I’m starting to feel like I shouldn’t be noticing the atractive young women now that they’re almost 20 years younger then me. Noooooo!!!! Not 20 years! I guess I should go out and get my funeral arrangements sorted out now that I’m getting so old.

I don’t know if you’ve ever listened to the Skeptoid podcast, but Brian Dunning produces it. You can find it on iTunes and at skeptoid.com. He has recently produced a video called Here Be Dragons. This video is an amazing introduction to skeptical thinking, and ways in which thinking can go wrong. This should be mandatory viewing for everyone. You can get it from the skeptoid site, or from it’s own site at herebedragons.com. I hope everyone who reads this goes out and watches this video.
Oh man. The world is now a little darker. George Carlin died yesterday. He was one of my intellectual heroes. He wasn’t afraid to show us where we were being stupid, and to rub our noses in it. He helped me come out of the closet as an atheist. He should us how to be unapologetic for calling bullshit when we saw it. I will miss you man. I’ll pray to Joe Pesci for you. Bye.
Well, I’m just trying out Emacs as my new blogging client. Did it work?
- I can’t believe it’s been a week since my last twitter. #
